I was born in Scotland and grew up immersing myself in fantasy worlds. In those worlds, magic made anything possible. I journeyed with Frodo across Middle Earth, with Rincewind across the Disc, with Arthur Dent across the galaxy – and I laughed and cried as their stories ended. I started writing about my own worlds when I was a child and always dreamed about sharing those with the world.
In reality, I went to university and studied psychology. I then gained my doctorate and became a clinical psychologist. For several years now I’ve worked with children and families, helping them with mental health problems as well as supporting those affected by developmental disorders and neurological conditions.
Since I started sharing my writing in 2022, several of my short stories and flash fiction have been published through online journals.
